Flatfold Frame

Here's a way to inexpensively but creatively finish your needlework projects. Cross-stitch, woolens, embroidery, even paintings can be attractively displayed with this technique.

Supplies needed: 1 completed stitched piece (at least 4"x4"), coordinating fabric (at least 4 times as big as your stitched piece), thin batting (also at least 4 times as big as your stitched piece), 4 pieces of sturdy, thin cardboard (mat board or chipboard, for example), embellishments if desired (trim, cording, lace, etc) some binder clips if you have them.
